They say: “The fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree” and Paolo Coniglio represents this saying at its best. The Coniglio family, for a couple of generations, has been an important part of the European Real Estate investment society and Paolo has been keeping it up, since 1996, representing his family heritage.
Owning properties and lands in Miami, Italy, Spain and the Principality of Monaco, known as Montecarlo, Paolo’s parents have been involving from a very young age their son in their Real Estate operations as part of his childhood daily routine and, soon enough, as part of his adult professional life.
A native of Savona, Italy, Paolo studied at the Liceo Pareto Lausanne in Switzerland, later earning a master’s Degree in Economics from Rose University and this international and diversified educational path has nurtured a worldwide network that enhances his knowledge of the Real Estate investments not only in the US but in many other important countries.
In 1996 he is commissioned by his father to fly to Miami at the once famous and exclusive Roney Palace Condominium, an oceanfront luxury condo complex of which his father was a part owner and where Paolo decides to purchase ten units as an investment.
In 2003, he acquired his Realtors® license and became a top producer in his first job at Miami Beach based Majestic Properties, becoming a Top Seller in a very short period of time. Following stints at the Keyes Company and Sotheby's International Realty, he joined Douglas Elliman in 2018 as Senior Director of Luxury Real Estate. A former client describes his experience working with Paolo with these few succinct words: “Exceptional service, follow up, left nothing for me to worry about. A true professional”
As a Senior Director of Luxury Real Estate, Paolo Coniglio, handles luxury condos, single family homes, and investment properties in Miami Beach, Brickell and Downtown Miami, with a keen, deep and passionate knowledge of the South Beach district – where he actually lives. From beginning to end Paolo guides all his clients through the entire Real Estate process with the same detail-oriented, high-end level of personal service, regardless of their preferred price range.
In addition, as a certified FIRPTA specialist, he can help customers from abroad deal with the complexities of Section 1445 of the Internal Revenue Code, also known as The Foreign Investment in Real Property Tax Act of 1980 (FIRPTA). As such, he can help a foreign real estate seller or foreign real estate investor navigate real estate and closing terminology, assist with communication between buyers and sellers, their agents, and their lenders, and ensure both parties are meeting FIRTPA’s legal requirements.
Today in his spare time, Paolo enjoys spending his free time scuba diving, swimming, and skiing. He also owns and runs a local horse breeding farm.
