Joseph Scheerer brings a wealth of regional expertise to his clients buying and selling homes in Palm Beach Island and the surrounding West Palm Beach area. His in-depth, hyperlocal knowledge and unwavering commitment to his clients, coupled with a charismatic and affable personality, has made him a favorite among Palm Beach’s elite luxury real estate professionals.
A third generation Palm Beach Island local, Joseph is a member of the beloved Testa’s family who have been a part of the fabric of Palm Beach Island since the 1920’s. A true native, Joseph was born and raised on the island before moving to New York City for a stint where he began his real estate career. He found quick success in the highly competitive market and after working with a boutique firm in the city, joined Douglas Elliman’s Manhattan office where he worked alongside one of Elliman’s Top Producing Brokers. This experience allowed him to both expand and fine tune his skill set, accumulating win after win for his clients along the way.
Today, Joseph has returned to South Florida and works with several of the area’s Top Producers in Elliman’s Palm Beach office. In addition to his love of South Florida real estate, he is passionate about gardening and creating beautiful environments, a gift that he enjoys sharing with his clients to give them an edge in today’s market. He is a member of The Gentlemen of the Garden, a non-profit organization that supports the gardening activities at the Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens and enjoys giving back to the community through a variety of other charities and philanthropic efforts. He is a graduate of Flagler College with a degree in Public Relations and Advertising and when he is not working, enjoys scuba diving, fishing and playing tennis.
