Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is the city's main airport; Miami International Airport and Palm Beach International Airport also serve the city. Port Everglades, the nation's third busiest cruise port, is located in Fort Lauderdale. Amtrak provides passenger service to other cities on the Atlantic coast via the Fort Lauderdale station; Tri-Rail provides commuter service between Palm Beach County, Broward County (including two stations in Fort Lauderdale), and Miami-Dade County. The Wave, a new 2.7-mile environmentally-friendly electric streetcar system is being planned for downtown Fort Lauderdale. Local bus transportation is provided by Broward County Transit (BCT), the county bus system. The Water Taxi is a cheap, easy and fun way to get around Fort Lauderdale. Its many stops include major hotels and several spots along the beach. Broward County is served by three major Interstate Highways (I-75, I-95, I-595) and U.S. Highways such as U.S. 1, US 27 and US 441.
