Katharyn Smith-Vargas

Kathy Vargas, better known as Kiki, has a longstanding relationship with the Douglas Elliman family. Having started her journey with Vector Group Ltd., Douglas Elliman’s parent company back in 2001, Kiki worked her way from administrative assistant to executive assistant to the CEO. During this time, she continued her education earning her bachelor’s degree in Business Operations and Management, as well as her real estate license.
Always striving for more both professionally and personally, she went on to work for Douglas Elliman Development Marketing in their Miami-Dade County division as a Marketing Director for Park Grove and Eighty Seven Park—a position that afforded her extensive hands-on experience in new development Sales and Marketing, and Customer Relationship Management.She also worked as Sales Executive for the Arbor Residences in Coconut Grove and 100 Las Olas in Fort Lauderdale.
In 2019, she joined the EklundGomes team as they expanded into South Florida. Then in 2020, after almost 20 years in the corporate world, Kiki made the decision to transition into real estate full time.
Throughout her career, she has been mentored and inspired by other successful professionals and is known for establishing genuine connections with everyone she comes across. Dedicated, hardworking, and committed to her clients, her greatest joy is surpassing their needs and expectations; she believes that a true real estate agent is someone that guides you in making the best choice for your wants and needs. Subsequently, her experiences with high net worth individuals, developers, and corporate relationships, led her to develop the skills that have enabled her to provide exceptional service to her clients.

On a personal level, family is extremely important to Kiki and she cherishes her time spent with her kids, husband, and two labradoodles. Aside from real estate, she is also owner of a sunless skincare tanning studio, part owner of an Italian restaurant, and an active member of the Junior League of Boca Raton. She is fluent in English, Spanish and conversational Italian.
