Richard Saltiel

An agent specializing in luxury residential properties in the Miami Beach area, Richard Saltiel believes a successful, long-lasting client relationship should begin by providing the customer complete, thorough, pertinent information pertaining to their home buying requirements and be built on a solid foundation of trust and confidence.

Before transitioning to real estate and joining Douglas Elliman, Richard spent more than 20 years as a commodities trader for such multinational firms as Continental Grain, Woodhouse Drake & Carey, Goldman Sachs/J. Aron, and SUCDEN/Groupe Sucres & Denrées. He spent an additional 15 years as a successful restaurateur and property developer in the U.K.

Though he has lived the better part of his life in Europe, attending schools in Switzerland, Brazil, and England and completing his education at the French Lycée in London, Richard is a U.S. citizen and currently resides in Miami. Outside the workplace, he enjoys surfing and motorcycling and is interested in business, world politics, and life experience.
