In Memoriam

In the nearly two decades she spent at Douglas Elliman, Karen Chesleigh looked after us all. Tender, loving and unfailingly kind, Karen brought extraordinary empathy to her role as Senior Vice President of Human Resources. With her untimely passing on Monday, August 1, 2022, we are heartbroken over losing a dear friend and colleague who truly left a legacy of love.

In that spirit, a GoFundMe campaign has been launched to honor Karen's legacy and bring a measure of comfort to her beloved husband, Christopher, and their daughter, Kaitlyn. In addition to wishing them the strength and courage to endure this terrible loss, contributions are being collected that will help to support Kaitlyn's studies at American University and beyond. It was Karen’s dream to support Kaitlyn in her educational pursuits for as far as she wanted to take her education.
