ABOUT Chris

Chris has more than 15 years combined experience in finance, engineering, and analysis roles, bringing forth a very unique expertise and skill set to the Research team at Douglas Elliman Texas. Chris is responsible for the overseeing the research team’s data management, research, analytics, and reporting.

In addition to the role at Douglas Elliman, Chris works at Allied Structured Capital as the VP of Finance and Acquisitions. Chris is responsible for overseeing the underwriting and evaluation of all the company’s developments and acquisitions. He is also responsible for monitoring the financial performance of the company’s active investments and providing reports to senior management and investor clientele.

Chris started his career in 2008 by working at Paratus Capital, a private equity company where he gained valuable experience in asset valuation, financial modeling, and risk management. In conjunction with working at Paratus, in 2013 Chris started work as a reservoir engineer in the petroleum industry. During the five years in the industry, he focused on activities in business development, acquisitions and divestitures, corporate finance, and capital allocation strategy for leading exploration and production companies. In addition to his corporate experience, since 2011 Chris has served as a member of the Board of Trustees for LMI, a non-profit organization that provides various philanthropic services across Oklahoma and Texas.

Chris holds a B.A. in Finance and a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
