Christopher Johnson brings over 20 years of marketing, public relations, events and political experience to each transaction with his clients and he is committed to providing the highest levels of service, integrity and knowledge to help make the home buying, selling and leasing process as smooth as possible.
Raised in Atlanta, GA, Christopher has long nurtured a passion for architecture, interior design, pop culture and politics. After graduating from Duke University in 2001 with a BA in Sociology, Christopher launched his public relations career in the Atlanta office of Manning, Selvage & Lee (MS&L) before shifting to politics to serve in the press office of the Democratic Party of Georgia.
Following the 2002 elections, Christopher moved to Washington, DC to open the first congressional office of the newly elected Congressman David Scott (GA-13) after being one of the campaign's first volunteers. Christopher rose to become Congressman Scott’s deputy press secretary before being tapped to be communications director for Congressman Melvin Watt (NC-12), chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) at the time. In 2007, Christopher was named director of public affairs and interactive communications at the Human Rights Campaign.
Relocating to Los Angeles in 2011, Christopher was introduced to Los Angeles real estate as director of communications and marketing for the Venice Art Walk & Architecture Tours, an annual fundraiser to benefit Venice Family Clinic in Venice, CA. After his tenure with Venice Family Clinic, Christopher became associate director of communications for the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) where he launched the Black Leadership AIDS Crisis Coalition (BLAAC).
After deciding that real estate was his true calling, Christopher launched his full-time career in real estate selling luxury lofts and condos in downtown Los Angeles.
He is a member of the Greater Los Angeles Association of REALTORS®, the California Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®.
