Originally from New York City, Rurik received a B.A. in Psychology from Yale University, where he was a star student-athlete. Rurik declined an offer to participate in the NFL scouting combine to travel abroad after graduation in search of diverse cultures and experiences. Rurik spent most of his time in Mexico, Spain, and London before he began working for Direct Opportunities Network, one of the fastest growing, private invitation-only networks in Monaco, where he connected ultra-high-net-worth individuals with premium products and exclusive opportunities, igniting his passion for luxury real estate.
