Joanna DaCosta

Joanna DaCosta was born and raised in Point Loma, San Diego, and is the 4th generation from a local Portuguese Tuna Fishing family. She graduated University of San Diego High School and attended college locally. Joanna has been in real estate since 2004 and is the backbone of a multi-million dollar real estate team for Douglas Elliman of California. Joanna is also President of Point Loma Kiwanis Club, a charity helping children around the world. She is Director and Coach for a local adult coed softball league. She is the Founder of Cookies For Troops San Diego, a program that encourages our community to purchase cookies that are packed and delivered to our local troops. She is also an active planning member of Ride For A Cause, a motorcycle poker ride benefitting Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego, a ride that is currently in its 12th year. Joanna volunteers and participates in many local charity events that call on her for help throughout the year. She is also a trained pastry and culinary chef, completing both programs on the Dean’s List at Le Cordon Bleu Las Vegas while working full time in real estate. Joanna's favorite things include spending time with her friends and family, hanging out with her beautiful niece, caring for her horse BlackJack, and enjoying an active life outside.
