About Me

TOM GLEASON



A veteran of the building, construction and renovation business, Tom Gleason brings an exceptionally seasoned portfolio of experience to the process of helping people select and sell homes. This Whitestone, NY native may have studied Liberal Arts at Queensborough Community College, but he certainly knew exactly what he wanted to do with his life after that from when he moved out west to work in construction. By age 19, Tom was hired as manager for a HUD project overseeing a complex of 500 units. Upon his return to New York, he opened his own construction company where he supervised a crew and was responsible for everything from building new homes to land development to major renovations.


His decades of experience combined with his expert market knowledge, understanding of quality and value, and ability to see any project through to completion, make Tom quite a natural when it comes to residential real estate sales. In fact, one of the things he liked most about his previous work was dealing directly with customers, showing prospects the homes he was building, some of which he even sold from an artist's sketch.


Extremely familiar with Port Washington and surrounding areas, Tom currently resides in Forest Hills, NY with his wife. Outside of work he enjoys spear fishing, archery, and skiing everywhere from upstate NY to the Swiss Alps. He is also a supporter of Habitats for Humanity.
