Sandy Weiswasser brings thirty-one years of cooperative and condominium sales experience to Douglas Elliman. Looking for a new and rewarding challenge, Sandy got involved in real estate sales in 1977; since then she has worked and been director of sales for several boutique firms concentrating primarily on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
Sandy, a lifelong resident of New York City has lived on Manhattan's Upper East Side for the past forty-one years. She brings a wide variety of experience to her sales skills; she has worked in the estimating department of a major New York City construction company and has taught in the private and public pre, primary, junior high and high schools of New York City.
Sandy has the talent, ability and patience to listen, visualize and match her clients with the property of their dreams. Ethically conscientious, Sandy does not oversell or push, tactics that serve neither the seller nor buyer. Her experience as a Board member and head of admissions for her cooperative allows Sandy to render a knowledgeable opinion as to board approval for potential sales, thereby preventing potential disappointment and the waste of time, energy, emotions and money. She is able to place the proper valuation on a property, making sure the client realizes its true worth and at the same time, not dashing hopes by overstating the value of the property.
