About Me

Dena Driver understands the diverse needs of her clients, and is willing to go the extra mile to close a deal. With 10 years of experience in all facets of property management, she is keenly sensitive to investment value and the potential of home ownership, and wants to help every client she works with succeed in their real estate endeavors.

“Real estate is not only one of the most important personal choices; it can also secure your financial future,” says Dena, who owns and manages a three-family brownstone in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn plus multiple investment properties in Dallas, Texas. Her seasoned expertise has included overseeing major renovations and repairs, maintenance, as well as annual accounting and taxes, insurance coverage, gaining Landmarks Commission approval and DOT/DOB permits, along with the removal of any violations. This experience makes Dena specifically well suited to the sales and assessment of multifamily townhouses for owner-occupied with rental income or investment purposes.

Just recently, she completed the Leadership in Energy-Efficient Design, Green Associates course and is now an accredited LEED Green Associate. “This continuing education has helped me stay current with the best practices in energy-saving design and sustainable building. I believe there’s a huge opportunity in Brooklyn for energy audits and LEED-certification of buildings to decrease energy costs, and that this is one of the most important changes ahead.”

Dena also has extensive knowledge in small garden design, and has worked for the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy running horticultural projects for volunteers. She boasts a strong network of contacts with the Brooklyn community having worked or volunteered at various schools, churches and youth organizations.

Originally from Dallas, Dena has earned an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Sweet Briar College in Virginia and spending her junior year abroad at the University of London. After college she moved to New York City and is a long-time Brooklyn resident along with her husband and two children.
