About Me

Matt Sadewitz has been happily helping people find their homes since 2008. An NYU alum, Matt has lived downtown and in Williamsburg, Brooklyn for the last ten years, and takes pride in being able to pinpoint the best areas and homes within any given neighborhood at a glance.
Well-versed in both sales and rentals, Matt is a versatile and valuable asset to any house-hunter. A methodical researcher, Matt will not only always make sure that each apartment he shows you could potentially be your new home, but will always expertly explain the different factors that make the property a good investment. He does everything in his power to make your apartment hunting process a painless and rewarding experience by being positive, honest, and an excellent listener. He is always reachable, an expert on marketing and pricing, and a tireless worker to make deals happen.
Specializing in unique, high-quality apartments in downtown Manhattan and Williamsburg, Brooklyn, Matt's skill and dedication is an invaluable asset in helping you achieve your real estate goals.

"We have worked with Matt Sadewitz on a number of real estate transactions in the New York City market as both buyer and landlord. Most notably, Matt has represented us on the purchase of the full floor penthouse of an acclaimed loft conversion condo in Downtown Manhattan. As a previous investor in the building, we had shared with Matt our interest in the penthouse—should it ever come on to the market. Once available, Matt alerted us in real time and arranged a viewing at extremely short notice, which allowed us to close a very attractive deal in record time. New York City is a competitive real estate market—one in which we have decided to work with Matt as a trusted advisor over and over again because we feel that by working with him we have a competitive edge over other buyers and investors."

"Matt was recommended to me by a friend, and I will do the same favor for anyone asking me about retaining professional help with selling their property. His detailed information about the factors driving the market, his decisions in actively showing the property, and his recommendations regarding renovations were all spot on. Most useful were our honest discussions of how to handle maybe the most important item in the sale: pricing. He was always available, sharp about details, professionally handled open houses and difficult negotiations with more than one serious buyer. Matt brought me the perfect buyer for my property and situated us for a timely closing."

"Matt has been my broker for two apartment searches now, one with a roommate and one to find my dream bachelorette pad. Throughout the search process (apartment viewings, applications and lease signings) Matt was always involved and constantly monitoring and updating me on the progress of each step--even acting as a champion to tricky management companies versus discouraging us from applying. Looking out for the interests of me as a client like he was a close friend, he made me feel comfortable in giving sensitive application documents and information. Matt found me amazing apartments, didn't waste my time showing me things that were not viable options, and never made me feel pressured into making a decision that wasn't the right one just so he could close a deal. It's for this reason that I've sent dozens of friends his way to help on their searches, as well, and I will always call Matt first in the future"
