About Me

Marion Hedges is a native New Yorker who grew up in Manhattan and knows extremely well the challenges and thrills of living in New York. She is considered a resource not only for native New Yorkers for all matters but to foreigners, as well, who rely upon Marion to not only purchase their home but separately set it up for immediate move-in after purchase. Imagine getting off the plane and spending the first night in your own home! This is a unique service that sets her apart from any other residential broker.

Marion's natural transition to real estate came after years of helping her interior design clients find apartments that best suited their lifestyles, taste level and budget. It is through her success in securing just the right home for people that fueled her desire to become a broker. Buyers and sellers appreciate how easy she makes the real estate process as well as her creative eye and proven expertise in transforming what could be considered an "ordinary" space into an extraordinary one.

"I really listen to sellers and buyers to try and help them accomplish what they need to do in a time frame that suits them as well as in their budget. Some of my buyers have seen three apartments and bought something right away because I was able to focus carefully on their needs. Some are still looking and not sure and need me to educate them on what their money can buy. Sellers need to see what is on the market, as well, and understand why the price I suggest is the one that is going to sell their apartment in their suggested time frame. Then I can bring qualified buyers to their home."

A graduate of the Spence School and Barnard College, Marion resides with her husband of twenty years and two children. Marion is active in her community and currently serves on the Executive Board of the Stanley Isaacs Community Center, located on the Upper East Side.. She is also a member of the New York Junior League, the Colony Club, Doubles, the Manhattan Sailing Club and Devon Yacht Club in Amagansett.

Marion received in 2010 the prestigious professional award by Prudential Douglas Elliman as a member of The Leading Edge Society. In 2006 she was awarded "Outstanding Volunteer" by the New York Junior League honoring her volunteer work in New York City.
