About Me

Judith Berke "draws" on her more than 25 years of experience as an Architect to develop personalized space plans to help clients visualize the potential function and flexibility of spaces in many of Manhattan's premium Cooperatives and Condominiums. For five of the past seven years she has specialized in the sale, purchase and lease of pre-and-post-war properties throughout Manhattan's Upper West Side and for the past two years, throughout the entire Borough.

Judith, who is an Upper West Sider, served on the Board of Directors for her Manhattan Cooperative for 10 years. She is uniquely qualified to guide clients through the strict purchasing requirements and applicant evaluation measures especially in this complicated, market.

Prior to Real Estate, Judith was the Director of Design for the New York City Office of Leasing and Design, responsible for design, construction and budget oversight. Her analytical and negotiating prowess has proven extremely useful to her clients. She has leveraged her financial and architectural expertise to the benefit of buyers, sellers, and renters.

As a licensed Architect, Judith has utilized continuing education coursework to remain current on updates to Building Codes in addition to changes in zoning and Fire Department requirements as they relate to residential Real Estate.

Judith completed her degree in Architecture from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY after she earned both a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Teaching certificate from Adelphi College in Garden City, N.Y. While living in Mexico City, Mexico, Judith studied Spanish and developed as a painter at Mexico City College.

Professionally, she is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and has been a member of Women In Architecture for 25 years.
