About Me

2012 PRESIDENT'S CIRCLE AWARD WINNER

Benjamin Franklin once remarked that "Energy and persistence conquer all things." While he obviously didn't know Joyce Bernstein, he could have been talking about her.
In an industry filled with people with energy and persistence, Joyce is known as much for her "anything it takes" work ethic as she is for her industry knowledge, attention to detail, integrity and limitless patience. She provides outstanding service fulfilling her clients' needs, whether buyer or seller.
Joyce is a hard working broker. "I never stop working on behalf of my clients," says Joyce. "For example, I once represented a couple who had very specific needs and insisted on a very particular kind of apartment." After searching all over the Upper East Side, we finally found "the right place," remembers Bernstein. However, during the negotiation process, there were many challenges that threatened the transaction. Not one to give up, Bernstein played a pivotal role in keeping the deal together. "I stuck with it, literally day and night, working with my client, placating the seller and his team - even the managing agent, too -- while bringing the transaction to a satisfactory conclusion for all concerned." Today, her clients happily reside in the home of their dreams.
Yet, as committed as Joyce is to her career and clients, real estate represents only one aspect of her full and rewarding life. A native New Yorker, devoted mother of two and grandmother of two, Joyce actively supports and sponsors many charities and museums including the American Cancer Society, Children's Cancer Foundation, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Hospital and the Museum of Modern Art. Joyce has served on the advisory board of Spirituality for Kids which provides unique educational practical tools. An avid golfer, she has organized charitable fundraisers at a local country club that raised tens of thousands of dollars.
Joyce, who has a Masters in Education, resides on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. She was elected to and served on the condo board of her building more than two years where she used her marketing skills, insight and resources to effectuate positive changes within the building and staff.
Joyce looks forward to providing you the exceptional service and comprehensive real estate knowledge you deserve to help navigate through the intricate process of meeting your needs and making the right decision. To learn how you can benefit from Joyce's "energy and persistence", all you need to do is call or email her.
