Irene Nickolai

With a widely varied professional career that spans a decade in the arts, both in the profit and non-profit sectors. Ms. Nickolai owned and operated a contemporary art gallery in the Chelsea arts district and has produced more than 40 solo and group exhibitions, including 5 large scale public installations, working in association with international consulates, foundations and corporate clients.

In the past 10 years Ms. Nickolai has worked in the luxury Real Estate market. She began her Real Estate career as the Marketing Director at New York Business Group, a boutique Real Estate firm in NYC with a roster of international clients. She was then was Vice President at New York Commercial Realty Services, working on development sales in NYC and abroad.

In 2008, she founded Stratus Realty Group in TriBeCa which grew substantially with agents stationed all over the world including Miami, Moscow, Monaco and London. Their extensive property list spanned from the United States and the Caribbean to locations across Western and Eastern Europe. She was the principal broker and President, and was actively involved in all areas of the company's direction including business development, branding, and recruitment.

In March of 2012 Stratus Realty Group has joined Douglas Elliman as the Nickolai Group. The team, led by Irene Nickolai, will be based out of Elliman’s 1995 Broadway Office.
