About Me

Gabriele Sewtz, a Vice President at Prudential Douglas Elliman, takes great pride in helping customers find their dream home, a place where they can picture themselves living in years to come. A mother and active Park Slope community member who moved to Brooklyn from Hamburg, Germany with her husband in 1999, she understands the major emotional undertaking and financial decisions involved in relocating, purchasing and forming roots in a neighborhood, and strives to ease the real estate process for others.

Gabriele is an excellent listener with exceptional interpersonal, communication, organizational and business skills. Thanks to this, and to her keen intuition and follow through, she excels at meeting customers’ and clients’ needs in the most expedient, satisfying manner possible.

One client summed up the thoughts of many of Gabriele’s customers and clients: “I never, ever want to buy or sell real estate without her again.” This loyalty results in an ongoing stream of referrals and repeat business from satisfied buyers and sellers.

At the forefront of strategic marketing, Gabriele effectively prices and markets her sellers' townhouses, co-ops and condos, ensuring maximum exposure and a smooth, seamless sales process – achieving the highest possible sales prices for her sellers.

What’s more, Gabriele’s extensive knowledge of Brownstone Brooklyn and her assistance with other pieces of the real estate puzzle such as obtaining a mortgage and preparing a top-notch board package serve as an outstanding resource for streamlining your transaction.

Gabriele is a caring, intelligent professional who holds an M.B.A. from the University of Hamburg, with majors in Industrial Organization, Logistics, Economics, Industrial Production and Business Administration. Prior to pursuing a real estate career, she gained more than 10 years of international experience managing sales and business development efforts for electronic media and publishing companies.

Aside from her professional expertise, Gabriele is also a seasoned real estate investor and landlord who owns apartments in Park Slope and Prospect Heights. Outside of real estate, her professional passion, she enjoys black and white photography, reading, and of course, precious family time.
