About Me

Born in Manhattan and raised in the suburbs of NYC, Erika Lucas knows every neighborhood, block, and building in this fabulous city. She began looking at real estate at a very young age as her mother was also a real estate agent in Manhattan. A long-term Greenwich Village local, she is the membership director of the West 9th Street Block Association (the oldest block association in Greenwich Village). Although she specializes in downtown Manhattan, she covers all neighborhoods. Whether buying, selling, or renting, she can help with all your real estate needs.

Prior to real estate, Erika worked as an international fashion model represented by Ford and Elite Model Management. Her interest in real estate began while working in fashion as she was constantly traveling and moving countries on a regular basis. She worked in 17 countries and was predominately based in Paris, London, Milan, Tokyo, and NYC. Finding homes in each city provided her with great insight on different cultures and housing markets.

Erika attended The Sorbonne and graduated with honors from NYU. She started working in real estate while still in school, and was drawn to it because of her fascination with the history of NYC, its juxtaposition of different architectural styles, and its constantly changing neighborhoods.

"I love how real estate encompasses so many different things. It is a very creative job that integrates countless business, artistic, and social elements. Finding a home is a very sensitive, personal thing, and I try to put my clients' minds at ease by explaining the process as thoroughly as possible. I prepare them from day one so they know what to expect every single step of the way... This makes for a relaxing, enjoyable, and positive experience. I love the feeling of finding someone their perfect home... It is an indescribably feeling that you just intuitively know the moment you walk in the door with them."
