Testimonials:

As a first time building owner in NYC I had my hands full just managing the gut rehab of my small apartment building. Deondra was the right choice for me when the time came to find the quality tenants to share my home. I listed each unit with her as they became available and was so pleased along the way that she ended up getting an exclusive on all of my listings. Now just over a year later I have re-signed with each of those tenants and look forward to the continuing ease and stability that finding the right tenants the first time brings. I have Deondra to thank for helping me get one of the most important parts of this process right."

By the time we found Deondra, my parter and I had worked with at least three different agents and had been rejected by landlords from various neighborhoods five times. Our case was not an easy one: my partner is a Russian citizen with all his income and assets abroad. We had just moved to the city from Moscow and had no idea about the New York real estate market. Deondra was the first agent who took the time not only to explain the idiosyncrasies of the market, but also to understand our specific situation. She explained what options were realistic, but also was receptive to our whims, however outlandish. Could we find a large two bedroom with laundry and a doorman on Riverside Dr. for $2000 a month? Of course not, but she looked and found compromises. As we conducted our search she was adroit and diplomatic, diffusing conflicts with angry first-floor tenants and moody landlords. When a last minute wrinkle threatened to scuttle a deal for an apartment we really wanted, she went above and beyond what was required to resolve it. We never anticipated such a daunting search when we arrived in New York. And I am certain we could not have managed it without Deondra.

We were so pleased, in fact, that when we decided several years later that it was time for us to buy, we called Deondra without hesitation. She guided us through the process from beginning to end, coordinating with lawyers, banks and other realtors. As before, Deondra was able to resolve disputes and ease the stress with her tact and grace, and with her help we bought a beautiful apartment. We now recommend her to all of our friends.

Thanks to Deondra, we found a great apartment that met all our expectations. Deondra was 200% committed to our apartment hunt. She knows how to listen; she is very understanding and patient. Another huge asset Deondra has is that she is at the same time persistent and diplomatic. She will negotiate as far as she can to get you what you want. To sum up, our apartment search has been a real success thanks to Deondra.
