Whether dealing with music industry executives, theater producers or film and television bigwigs, D. Michael Dvorchak has always effectively juggled many different tasks while keeping scrupulous track of every transaction. His sharp business sense, attention to detail and computer savvy have also served him well in navigating through his previous career in the entertainment world, and current role selling residential real estate.

Also key to Michael's success is concise communication, great listening skills, keen organizational talent, and diligence in achieving any task. It may take patience and persistence, and even a few setbacks, but with hard work and dedication on my part, we'll find that special match for you," stresses Michael.

Michael works as a partner with buyers and sellers to steer the real estate process in the right direction. He takes his cues from the client, then proceeds diligently to make their dreams and visions a reality. "It's also my job to gather the accurate research, and present and discuss it so the right decisions are made with intelligence and confidence."

A Pennsylvania native born in Pittsburgh and raised in Lancaster, Michael graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a B.A. degree in Telecommunications. He subsequently spent 15 years in the business end of show business, with eight years working for The Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization promoting and selling copyright materials. He worked on several Broadway productions including OKLAHOMA!, THE SOUND OF MUSIC, ANNIE GET YOUR GUN and THE KING AND I. Michael next transitioned to television, specializing in buying the rights of major Hollywood theatrical movies to air on TV.

Michael has lived in New York City for 20 years and considers himself a true New Yorker. "I started renting in Midtown and on the Upper West Side, then lived in a five-unit co-op on the Upper West where I served as Board Treasurer. In 1999, he purchased a condo in Clinton, where he and his partner have resided happily ever since." He loves the history of Manhattan island and the vast array of cultural activities it offers - especially the first-rate theater. His pride and joy is the restoration of an 1850 Italianate Victorian farmhouse in Hillsdale, NY, which was sorely neglected and in need of major foundation and cosmetic work. Michael also completely gutted his NYC condominium and redesigned the layout.
