About Me

Bruce Ehrmann has 18 years of extensive real estate experience in the Manhattan and Brooklyn markets. He is an expert in all types of residential properties, with many high-visibility clients from the arts and entertainment community. He has been the exclusive marketing agent or project manager for a number of highly successful development projects, including The Reade Street Houses, The Franklin Tower, Tower 270, The Porter House, One Brooklyn Bridge Park, Loft25, The New Yorker Condominium, and many others.

With Douglas Elliman, Bruce Ehrmann is currently representing Taconic Investment Partners' The Sterling Mason, at 71 Laight Street, designed by Morris Adjmi with interiors by John and Christine Gachot. The Sterling Mason, with a sellout of over $250 million, is breaking the record of price-per-square-foot sales for a Tribeca new development. Bruce is also Director of Sales at SK Development and CB Developers' Reade Chambers, at 71 Reade Street, designed by Selldorf Architects. Reade Chambers' sales absorption rate has surpassed almost all other Tribeca new developments.

Notable recent sales of Bruce's include the $21 million Penthouse A of The Sterling Mason, at well over $4,000/square foot; a $15 million residence in the West Village's most highly acclaimed new development, 150 Charles Street; the $9.225 million Apartment 13C/D in 75 Central Park West, with 60 feet of frontage to Central Park; and a $9 million duplex in 118 Riverside Drive, with interior design by Roman & Williams. Notable current listings of Bruce's are the $23 million Penthouse B in The Sterling Mason, which has a contract out; an $18.95 million, 9,300-square foot triplex maisonette with a private swimming pool in the landmarked American Express Carriage House at 60 Collister Street, in Tribeca; the $8.75 million Penthouse A at Reade Chambers; and the $6.5 million townhouse, 111 Bedford Street, in Greenwich Village.

Bruce and his wife, the artist Sandi Slone, have lived in Tribeca for over 26 years, where he has been actively involved in the neighborhood, as Co-Chair of Manhattan Community Board One's Landmarks Committee, a consulting party to the federal Section 106 Process of the World Trade Center site, and an appointed member of the World Trade Center Memorial Committee of the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation. He is also on the Board of Directors of the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, which covers most public art installations for Downtown Manhattan and Governors Island.

A graduate of Columbia University, Bruce was a reporter and worked for The New York Times, National Public Radio, and ABC's Good Morning America before entering real estate.
