With over fifteen years in the luxury condominium market, Anita happily returns to the Douglas Elliman sales division. She began her career in the rental division at Elliman and transferred to sales after two years, representing both buyers and sellers and gaining valuable experience and expertise. She successfully sold and leased hundreds of co-ops and condominiums in every area of Manhattan. Recruited by a major developer, Wood accepted the position of Sales Director at The Residences at The Ritz Carlton in Battery Park City. In the pre-construction phase, Anita sold the first 50% utilizing floor plans, a model kitchen and bathroom located in the sales center on the upper west side. As the sole selling agent on the project, she was confronted with the unexpected task of working very closely with the architects and purchasers to reconfigure the 1-2 bedroom floor plans to assist in creating 1-5 bedroom units, trimming the number of homes from 172 units to115.

After moving to the site in May of 2001 during the "dot com bubble" she was faced with the daunting challenge of selling the remaining units. After the devastation of September 11th she resumed the sales effort in November 2001 just a few blocks from ground zero and single-handedly sold more than 90% of the leasehold project in a very challenging climate. She pushed for price increases and ultimately achieved a record $1,000.00 per sq. ft in a $300.00 per sq. ft area establishing the price point in Battery Park City forever.

Later as an owner/broker specialist residing at The Ritz, Wood continued to achieve record prices for her clients in the resale market.
More recently Anita held the post as senior sales agent at a "Green" condominium project also in leasehold Battery Park City. She was personally responsible for selling approximately $50,000,000 in property within a seven and a half month period almost always negotiating the full asking price, also in a plunging and very challenging real estate market.

Anita specialty is marketing and selling luxury condominiums all over Manhattan and she is well-known for being on top of every aspect of the process every step of the way to settlement.

Having lived in Milano, Italy for three years and in Paris, France for an additional three, she maintains a good understanding of the Italian language, is a world traveler and has never met a stranger.
