Across the Williamsburg Bridge from Manhattan's Lower East side, Williamsburg covers a large area of Brooklyn's north side. Williamsburg is served by three subway lines, the L on the north J, M, Z on the south and the G on the east, and by the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway.
