Stephen joined Prudential Douglas Elliman in 1991. Not only was he the top-producing agent at his office for 15 years prior to becoming a manager; he also was the first agent in New York City to form a real estate team - named The Kotler Group. Under his leadership, the group achieved Top 10 status at Prudential Douglas Elliman for ten consecutive years, ranked in the Top 100 brokers in the country by Prudential Real Estate affiliates for eight years straight and was listed in the Top 10 of Prudential's 60,000-plus agents worldwide in 2005, among other awards.

Transitioning into management in 2005, Stephen led his agents with his profound knowledge of the residential real estate industry, vast sales expertise and extensive experience in new development marketing. As Executive Vice President and Director of Sales and Rentals for Prudential Douglas Elliman's high-profile 485 Madison Avenue office, Kotler was in charge of a large and growing sales force of 160 agents. His office at 485 Madison has been ranked in the top five offices nationally for Prudential Real Estate Affiliates five years running.

Stephen is now responsible for overseeing the firms operations and growth for New York City, Long Island, The Hamptons and Westchester.
